 Jenny the Beagle with Puggle Puppies M any people ask, "What is a puggle?". Simply, a puggle is a cross between a pug and a beagle. A little background on the 2 breeds; Beagles are high-strung but also very sporty, while pugs are not very athletic, but have a calm, relaxing demeanor - not yippy, overexcited, or insecure. Puggles do not generally howl like beagles and do not have the breathing problems that are often associated with the pug. Mix the 2 together and you have the best attributes of both.  Puggle puppy Oscar.  Jenny at right, a two year old beagle is a good mother. Delivering her first litter was hard, but she bore eight healthy puppies. Congratulations mommy! She is old gentle pedigree that features gentleness and elegance. Not the varmit type, she's generally quiet, but will gently howl and bark when she's excited. Sorry, her puppies are all in loving homes. She's resting now, and we will let you know when she will be expecting again. Oscar at left, is an adorable male puppy that is a lot of laughs! Trods about stumbling, bumbling. His brood are all in good hands, happy in their new homes. These puggles love to play with the kids. The kids love the dogs. They make a great family dog. They are ideal for elderly and apartment dwellers. Enjoy interaction from owners. Can be affectionate.  Puggle Puppy Star Child Star Child at right is one of Jenny's pups. Featured here at four months, with her happy owners. She is the type of dog, like all the puggle puppies, that is perfectly suited for a family life. Good disiplined and trained. Very well behaved in all environments. These dogs are not mutts! A.K.C. is petitioned to make this a pedigree. Do all dogs breed for a purpose have to be herders? Equally, they are found of outdoor activity, particularly in the day when it's warm. All thes dogs have play well with other breeds, except perhaps with the Bull Terriers! Thor at left, is a A.K.C. pug Male. Champion pedigree. Father won blue ribbon in the Universal Dog Show 2004. Square head and teeth. Tough, good breeder. He is always ready to play and welcome home family members. Alert dog that warns you when somethings amiss. Well behaved and trained. Thor is the father of Star Child. Has sired two litters.
